The starting point
As at most clubs, ticketing ran on volunteers, a cash box at the door and a calendar that somebody retyped every season. That works — until the queue at the door gets too long, or the person who knows the spreadsheet is on holiday.
The calendar arrives by itself
Donza linked its club ID at Basketbal Vlaanderen. Since then every fixture for every team appears automatically, changes and postponements included. Each match arrives dormant: publishing it and opening sales stays a deliberate choice by the club.
Supporters pay online
Single tickets and season passes sit in the same shop, in the club's colours. Supporters pay with Bancontact through the club's own Mollie account, so the takings land straight in the club account.
At the door
Scanning happens on the smartphones the volunteers already carry — no extra hardware. If the wifi in the hall drops, the scanner keeps working and syncs as soon as the connection is back.
Donza was the first club on the platform. A good deal of what exists today was built because they ran into it first.
